Endpresentation Lucia Marthas

Nancy Faas attends the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts End of Year Performance

At the invitation of the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts, Nancy Faas attended the annual DUTCH end of year performance yesterday at Theater de RAI in Amsterdam. Following several successful collaborations, it was a special honor to be invited once again to this inspiring event.

The theme DUTCH celebrated connection, inclusion and respect for everyone’s unique identity. Standing side by side, caring for one another, respecting your roots and being free to be yourself formed the central message throughout the performance, demonstrating how the performing arts bring people together.

It was especially meaningful that Nancy Faas was also featured in the specially published event magazine, which, like the performance itself, highlights the unifying power of the performing arts.

As Lucia Marthas writes in her introduction to the magazine, her wish is to make the performing arts increasingly accessible to everyone. This is a vision that Nancy Faas wholeheartedly shares. Regardless of background, age or disability, everyone deserves the opportunity to experience and participate in the power of dance, music and performance. Evenings like this demonstrate how the arts unite people and how inclusion and talent go hand in hand.
