The Muses

The Muses, an Ode to Women

The power and symbolism behind “The Muses” is an ode to women. At the heart of this concept, artist Nancy Faas has created an installation that serves as a powerful tribute to women throughout history and contemporary society. From mythological figures to biblical heroines, avant-garde trailblazers, legendary icons to pioneers of freedom and equality, these women have shaped the foundation of our existence. These fragments of our DNA contribute to the collective identity of women, serving as role models, sources of inspiration, and drivers of innovation.

This collection of bronze sculptures, known as The Muses, is a statement of strength, vulnerability, and resilience that defines the essence of femininity.

Nancy Faas: “The power of art lies not only in its aesthetic appeal but also in its ability to inspire and ignite the imagination.”

Inspired by the Avant-Garde and the world around her, Nancy Faas creates her own poetic bronze storytelling sculptures.

By pushing the boundaries of the conventional, Nancy Faas has developed a unique style where art and art history meet to create an unforgettable visual experience. Her work consists of bronze compositions she carefully assembles: “She uses carefully selected bronze symbols, preferably objects that have lived, that have been touched. Objects with a soul.”

Nancy works from her studios in Blaricum and La Croix Valmer, France.

  • Her work is internationally represented and has been featured multiple times at Salone del Mobile, Masterly the Dutch in Milano, and in Paris.
